We're excited to host our 6th Annual STEM Fair at Oakland Technical High School! This free event will be full of learning, exploration, and discovery!
Come enjoy energy filled games, hands-on science activities, and live music. This event will kick off the school year with STEM fun as we prepare for future programming and events for Bay Area scientists.
We are partnering with California Life Sciences, Chabot Space and Science Center, the Lawrence Hall of Science, the Crucible and many more to ensure an amazing STEM-filled day!

The Inventors Lab
June 22 - July 31 2026
The Inventors Lab is a hands-on summer program that gives incoming 7th and 8th grade students the opportunity to explore engineering, design, and technology through CAD, electronics, and programming projects. Working alongside STEM professionals, participants build technical skills while developing creativity, confidence, and problem-solving abilities. Whether students are new to STEM or already enjoy designing and creating, The Inventors’ Lab provides an engaging environment to learn, experiment, and bring ideas to life.
STEM Adventures 2026

STEM Adventures brings Oakland’s young scientists to the California Academy of Sciences for an unforgettable day of exploration and discovery. This year, the program served more than 700 K–5 students from Reach Academy, Oakland Academy of Knowledge, and Brookfield Elementary through four hands-on field trips. Students explored the rainforest dome, aquarium, planetarium, and other interactive exhibits while engaging with science in a fun and meaningful way. STEM Adventures helps spark curiosity, inspire a love of learning, and show students that science is something they can experience firsthand.
5th Annual STEM Fair

The 5th Annual Kits Cubed STEM Fair took place on September 13th, 2025, at Oakland Technical High School. Partnering with various organizations such as Heads Up and the Golden State Warriors, and many more, we had so much fun and were so excited to once again cultivate young minds in the Bay Area!
For our fifth-year anniversary, we invite you to celebrate this special milestone with us as we reflect on the journey so far and look ahead to the future.
STEM Adventures 2025

STEM Adventures is an activity where we bridge the Bay by bringing Oakland’s young scientists to the California Academy of Sciences. The students have had a blast exploring world-class exhibits, rainforest, aquarium, planetarium, and enjoying the museum’s interactive and hands-on fun. STEM Adventures has been a fantastic way to spark curiosity amongst students and bring the magic of science to life.
The Energy Lab: Kits Cubed After School Camp
March - May 2025
We launched a 10-week afterschool program hosted at the Oakland Academy of Knowledge (OAK), which served 4th & 5th grade students between March and May. Students explored renewable energy alternatives through hands-on workshops at no extra cost to families. Some of the activities included: learning wind energy through wind turbines and exploring water layers through a rainbow ocean in a tank.
4th Annual STEM Fair

The fourth annual Kits Cubed STEM Fair, presented by California Life Sciences, had taken place on September 14th, 2024 at Oakland Tech! We were excited to celebrate the Bay Area's young scientists alongside our community partners with hours of fun and interactive science activities. It was incredible to see nearly 4,500 people show up!
3rd Annual STEM Fair

We held our third annual STEM Fair (presented by California Life Sciences) on September 9th, 2023! Partnering with organizations like the Golden State Warriors, Chabot Space and Science Center, and Community Resources for Science, we hosted our beloved annual community event for Bay Area families. A day packed with science activities, music, speakers, food, and more!

We hosted our second annual STEM Fair (presented by California Life Sciences) on September 17th, 2022! We partnered with many amazing organizations to bring a community event for the whole Bay Area with hours of science activities, music, guest speakers, food, and more!

We had so much fun coming back to the West Oakland Youth Center for another year of science summer camp! We brought some cool science demos and our science kits to all of our amazing campers!
1st Annual STEM Fair

We hosted our first annual STEM Fair on September 8th, 2021! We had science activities, food, music, speakers, and more for families across the Bay Area. Organizations in the community like California Life Sciences, the Oakland Fire Department, and more partnered with us to bring hours of science fun to the community!
Summer Camp 2021

We had the best time hosting Science Summer Camp in collaboration with Fam 1st for the youth in our community! This one week camp took place at the West Oakland Youth Center and was taught by Ahmed Muhammad using materials including cool science demos and our science kits! There were 60 students there!
Piedmont Giveaway
One of our first giveaways was at Piedmont Avenue Elementary School, where we had the chance to hand out over 300 science kits to everyone at the distribution!
Garfield Elementary Giveaway
We then had the opportunity to distribute 300 kits to Garfield Elementary and their East Bay Asian Youth Center!
Seattle Giveaway
We even made it up to Seattle, where we successfully completed three science kits giveaways at Elementary Schools there. Stay tuned for more upcoming regional giveaways!
